Well, I haven't been posting for the past few days because I was kinda lazy. But anyway, I want to document one of the BEST nights of my life so that's why I'm blogging. I'm just gonna say it (or type it...) ...

THE MUSICAL WAS A SUCESS~!

Want to hear the WHOLE story in one post? That's gonna be a lot of typing but I don't mind. Okay, here goes...

So I think I blogged in one of my post about my musical auditions. Actually, I only auditioned for the singing role and then I guess I was good so they wanted me to audition for all three (sing/dance/act). I was over the moon! Then I found out that I got in! One of the greatest news I have heard.

So the rehearsals began in the June holidays. We barely knew one another. But as we rehearsed more, we got to know one another better.

BENEFIT 1: Make friends.

And then we got our scripts. I felt very professional! And the rehearsals got tougher and tougher day by day. At first I was one of the backup dancers then they didn't want me to do that anymore and so I was one of the singers. Then I also have the role of one of the hosts. Wow. So I had vocal trainings often by Mr. Ryan. And acting lessons (also by Mr. Ryan).

We often had our rehearsals in the Indoor Sports Hall (the ISH). Then, one week before the performance, they brought as to ACJC (our performance venue).

BENEFIT 2: Travel.

Well... the place was a little smaller than I imagined but it was grand! There, we got shown to our dressing rooms and they assigned us our mics.

BENEFIT 3: The fun of having dressing rooms and mics.

It was pretty fun. Most of all, I enjoyed the bus rides. I always sit next to Michelle (one of my new friends) and we would listen to songs (sometimes sing along) and talk about our favourite artists and songs.

But when it comes to work, we are quite serious I think... We were taught how to mute and unmute our mics. And where to stand.

BENEFIT 4: Learning the theatre ropes.

The nights of the performances was like, WOW.
Our first show: VERY BAD
Our second show: A LOT BETTER THAN THE FIRST SHOW
Our third show: It was alright.
Our main show: THE BEST.

The audience loved it! We cried and hugged each other when the curtains closed for the main show, which was also our last show. It was very emotional for us musical casts.

I will never forget this experience. I think I enjoyed myself. And I still miss my musical friends even after one week of our last show. I emailed one of them and I'm still waiting for her reply!

I'm keeping this post short because I have a lot of stuff I need to do.
Today we had our P6 Graduation Party~! I loved the part where we get to wear our own clothes! I also won a prize in the Lucky Draw. Well, it was shower gel actually. And we had FREE McDonalds--> McChicken and Apple Pie! Overall, it was a fun day.

P.S. Just because we had a party doesn't mean I don't have to attend musical rehearsals! I still had to attend rehearsals and anyway, I don't want to miss any or else the musical falls apart and I get scolded by the directer. Not everyone can do a musical and we are honoured to be in this musical. (Well, at least I think so.)

In computer lab again!
Our form teacher let us go to the computer almost every single day! Which is good news to me because all this while my computer was confiscated and I had to go to my uncle's house to play the computer. Now, I'm actually on twitter also. Multi-tasking.
